Nadine Wilson-Ellis engaged in conduct discreditable to a barrister, contrary to paragraph 301(a)(i) of the Code of Conduct, in that from September 2008-2011 she fraudulently obtained financial assistance in respect of the letting of a council house contrary to the Fraud Act 2006. Nadine Wilson-Ellis failed promptly or at all to report to the Bar Standards Board that she had been found guilty of 2 counts of dishonestly making false representations to make gain for herself or another or to cause loss to another or expose others to risk contrary to the Fraud Act 2006, of which offences she was convicted at Bristol Crown Court and sentenced on 20 August 2013 to 7 months imprisonment, contrary to paragraph 905(b)(iii) of the Code of Conduct.
