Salim Mahmood failed to respond promptly to requests from the Bar Standards Board for comments or information on the bankruptcy order made against him on 6 November 2009, in that he failed to respond to letters sent to him by the BSB dated 16 August 2010 and 8 September 2010 such failure being so serious as to amount to professional misconduct by virtue of its combination with another failure to comply with the Code of Conduct and previous failures to comply with the code.
