Reasons/basis

This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.  This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor.  The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include that :- 

1. Between around 2015 and February 2023 he failed to account to beneficiaries for estate monies in respect of three estates. 
2. Between around 2017 and July 2018 he misappropriated or otherwise misused monies from one estate. 
3. Between September 2019 and July 2020, he failed to comply with Court orders in respect of two estates. 
4. Between around 2013 and 2021 he carried out reserved work without having authorisation to do so and/or without having professional indemnity insurance. 
5. Between around 2015 and 2021 he received and held client money without having a client account.

Between August 2020 and December 2021, he failed to cooperate with the SRA's investigation into his conduct. 

The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
