To impose the following interim conditions upon Miss Parsons' practicing certificate:

• Miss Parsons may only act as a solicitor in a role approved by the SRA.
• Miss Psrsons may not be a partner, manager or sole practitioner.
• Miss Parsons may not be a COLP or COFA or hold any other compliance roles.
• Miss Parsons is not to hold, receive or have access to client money.
• Miss Parsons is not to act as a signatory on client or office accounts and is not to have the power to authorise payments or transfers from any client or office account.
• Miss Parsons must have all correspondence relating to client accounts supervised including correspondence relating to fees.
• Miss Parsons must be chaperoned for all client meetings.

Reasons/basis

The above interim conditions are made under rule 3.2 of SRA Regulatory and Disciplinary Procedure Rules, which states that at any stage an authorised decision maker may, pending a final decision by the SRA or the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, impose interim conditions on the practising certificate of a solicitor. We are satisfied that these conditions are necessary in the public interest or for the protection of the public.
