Offence details:

Mr John Raman engaged in conduct which was discreditable to a barrister in that, in or about December 2006 and January 2007 Mr Raman:

(a) Caused or incited a male child under 16 to engage in a sexual activity and;

(b) Engaged in sexual activity with a male child under 16

of which offence Mr Raman was tried and convicted at Blackfriars Crown Court, upon an indictment, of two offences contrary to the Sexual Offences Act 2003 on 22 June 2011 and was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment on 6 September 2011.
