1.1 The SRA and Mr Perry agree that the wording set out below will be published by the SRA:

  1. Mr Perry has agreed to the following outcome to the investigation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) of his conduct in February 2020:
    1. he has provided an undertaking to apply to remove his name from the Roll of Solicitors within 14 days of the date of this Agreement and has further undertaken that he will not apply to be restored to the Roll for a period of 12 months from the date of this Agreement,
    2. he will not:
      1. seek or accept employment or remuneration from a solicitor in connection with a solicitor’s practice
      2. undertake work in the name of, or under the direction or supervision of a solicitor
      3. seek or accept employment or remuneration from an authorised body or any other entity regulated by the SRA or any other approved regulator under the Legal Services Act 2007
      4. seek employment or remuneration from a manager or employee of an authorised body or any other entity regulated by the SRA in connection with that body’s business
      5. be a manager of an authorised body or any other entity regulated by the SRA
      6. have or intend to acquire an interest in such a body
      7. provide legal services as a freelance solicitor offering reserved or unreserved services under regulations 10.2 (a) or (b) of the SRA Authorisations of Individuals Regulations

      without such solicitor or body seeking prior approval from the SRA.

    3. he will pay the costs of the investigation of £300, pursuant to Rule 10.1 and Schedule 1 of the SRA Regulatory and Disciplinary Procedure Rules.
