Pasupathy Kanagasby, a barrister, on a date prior to the 31 May 1990, engaged in conduct which was dishonest and otherwise discreditable to a barrister, in that he abetted a woman to cheat the Employees Provident Fund in Malaysia, for which offence he was convicted by the Sessions Court in Malaysia on the 31 May 1990 and sentenced to 3 years imprisonment, which sentence was subsequently reduced on appeal to a sentence of 2 years imprisonment.
Pasupathy Kanagasby, a barrister, engaged in conduct that was discreditable to a barrister, in that on the 22 April 2006 he was struck off the roll of advocates and solicitors of the High Court of Malaya, after being found guilty of a disciplinary offence by the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board of Malaysia.
