Offence details:

Mohammed Shariful Islam, a barrister, having been called to the Bar on 12th March 2009 by Lincoln?s Inn was convicted of misconduct at the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal of disciplinary offences involving dishonesty and in respect of such conduct he was ordered to be struck off the Roll of Solicitors by a Judgment dated 19 January 2012. This constitutes professional misconduct pursuant to paragraph 901.8 of the Code of Conduct.

Mohammed Shariful Islam, a barrister, having been called to the Bar on 12th March 2009 by Lincoln?s Inn, failed to report promptly or at all that he had been charged with disciplinary offences by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. This failure constitutes professional misconduct pursuant to paragraph 901.7 of the Code of Conduct.
