Offence details:

Richard Hayes, an unregistered barrister, engaged in conduct which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in the profession in that on 23rd April 2015 he was convicted by the Crown Court in Lewes (upon pleading guilty) of dishonestly making a false representation to make gain for himself contrary to section 2 of the Fraud Act 2006, for which he was sentenced to a 12 month community service order to provide 250 hours of unpaid work
